Originally from St. Thomas, North Dakota, Laura grew up spending her summers on Lake Melissa and knows the Detroit Lakes area well. Laura married fellow NDSU Bison, Randy Hagemeister, April 2016. They reside in Fargo when they aren’t traveling the country, a favorite pastime for the couple!
Tim joined the Wildflower staff in the spring of 2016 as an Assistant Superintendent before being promoted to Head Superintendent in May 2016. He brings a wealth of knowledge that he received while working under Scott Hoffmann, Director of Grounds and Golf Course Superintendent, at Madden’s Resort in Brainerd, MN. Tim spent the previous 2 seasons working under Scott, first as an Intern in 2014 and then was hired back as one of the Assistants of The Classic at Madden’s for the 2015 season.
Tim first graduated from The University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelor’s of Accounting in 2012 where he spent his summer working at Lester Park Golf Course. There he found his true calling and decided to pursue it at The University of Minnesota Crookston, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Turfgrass Management in 2015. Tim is originally from San Antonio, TX; but grew up in Brainerd, MN. He is no stranger to Fair Hills and Wildflower, his family has vacationed at Five Lakes on several occasions and played at Wildflower a handful of times before joining our team. In his free time Tim enjoys hunting, fishing, and traveling the world; but during the summer months, you’ll most likely find him out on the golf course, getting to know our members and guests.
Reed Bohm joined the Wildflower staff in February 2017 as Assistant Superintendent. Prior to Wildflower, Reed worked at the Thief River Golf Club for five years, one of which being the Assistant Superintendent. Reed also interned at Wannamoisett Country Club in Providence, Rhode Island.
Reed graduated in December 2016 from The University of Minnesota Crookston with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Turfgrass Management. While studying all things turf, Reed also competed in collegiate golf. Go Golden Eagles! In his free time Reed enjoys competing in Crossfit, as well as coaching Crossfit, spending time outdoors, especially at the lake, and of course, golf!
Golf Management Intern
Sam Radenz joins the Wildflower staff in May 2017 as the Golf Management Intern. Sam attends University of Wisconsin, Stout in Menomonie, WI where he is pursuing a degree in Golf Enterprise Management (GEM).
Sam played golf competitively during high school, and it was at that point he decided to pursue a future in the golf industry. Sam’s a familiar face at the front desk in the pro-shop where he greets our customers with a smile, assists in making tee times, and answers the phone. He also assists in tournament operations, merchandising, and running fun promotions! Sam is an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman. As a now “washed up” hockey player, Sam enjoys cheering for his hometown team, The Minnesota Wild.
