April 5 Course Tour

Hey everybody:

I took another walk around the course to see how things are shaping up and its looking really good.  As of right now, 4, 5, 14, 16, and the practice green by the driving range are completely uncovered.  The other greens vary from being half covered to having a few feet of snow on them.  The fariways are pretty clean, with #1 always being an exception.  The driving range tee is about 75% cleared, but there is a 3 foot drift blocking the way to the tee.   My assistant and I will be working on getting that path cleared this week so we can possibly open the range up in the next few weeks.   With the “forecasted” temps being in the high 40’s and even reaching the 50’s, I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of the course here by the end of next week.
